Sage 50 Accounts Training Course No. 11 - Management Accounting

Aimed at: Managers, bookkeepers or accountants who need to move beyond trial balance to a set of accounts.

What will I learn?
How to use the features of the software to take the accounts beyond trial balance to management and year end accounts, including posting journals, processing accruals and prepayments, recording and depreciating fixed assets, extracting information using Microsoft Office, and producing and customising management reports.

Course Objectives
By the end of this Sage 50 Accounts Management Accounting training course you will:
- Know how to use post and correct Journal Entries
- Know how to set up the Fixed Asset Register, post depreciation journals and dispose of fixed assets
- Understand how to post prepayments and accruals
- Be able to produce financial reports, including the Profit & Loss Report and Balance Sheet
- Know how to set budget information and use departments for additional analysis
- Understand how to integrate Sage 50 Accounts with Microsoft® Office
- Know how to prepare for and run the Month and Year End routines
