is supplied "as is". We make no warranty as
to the suitability of the software and other products
for your purposes.
Information about the products has been obtained from
the manufacturer and is publicly available, it is provided
"as is" and in good faith, but does not constitute
a warranty. All software sales are subject to the software
manufacturer's EULA (End User Licence Agreement) and
limitation of liabilities.
Guarantee: Hardware. We make every effort to ensure
the goods supplied correspond with samples, specifications
or descriptions provided to the customer. We are not
responsible for slight variations in product colour,
design features and no such variation shall entitle
you to cancel or make any claim against us.
All hardware is warranted for 12 months unless otherwise
stated from the Start Date. In the event that a warranted
fault is experienced with hardware please call us on
0845 4024828 or email warranty@site4.co.uk and provide
details of the fault/symptoms. This will be assessed
by an advisor or engineer either from Site4 or a third
party and if necessary a return of the goods shall be
arranged to the manufacturer (cost of return shall be
the responsibility of the customer).
Where the hardware manufacturer has offered an extended
warranty (beyond 12 months) the warranty period after
12 months from the start date only covers 1hr labour
only unless otherwise stated.
Where goods carry manufacturers warranty it is the
buyers responsibility to liase directly with the manufacturer.
The Warranty Start Date is the date of delivery or
collection of hardware product(s).
We are not responsible or liable for any electronic
data or applications stored on products purchased and/or
returned under warranty.
Where the customer returns hardware due to a fault,
but the fault is not apparent or found to be software
related we or our suppliers shall charge the customer
at our current hourly rate, for all work carried out
to assess the product.
Where On Site warranty for a computer has been paid
for the customer should call the contact number provided
on the On Site Warranty and liase directly with the
third party engineers supplying the warranty.
The third party supplier or engineers will record the
customer details, upgrade/repair requirements and arrange
for a qualified PC engineer to discuss the requirements
with the customer by telephone in order to establish
possible parts requirements.
The third party supplier/ engineers and customer will
agree a suitable appointment date/time for an engineer
to visit. This agreement of this appointment will be
deemed an acceptance of terms for this service and shall
constitute an order for the Onsite Service at the agreed
rate. The third party supplier/ engineers shall despatch
an engineer at a suitable time to arrive at the customer's
site on (or near to) the agreed time.
The On Site warranty service for a computer includes
1hr of the engineer's time onsite. Any additional labour
or parts costs will be agreed with the customer prior
to continuing beyond the first hour or fitting/replacing
parts. Additional hours onsite are charged at the third
party engineers/suppliers current rate per hour. On
completion, the engineer will present the customer with
an Engineers Report/Invoice upon which payment will
be due. |
